      "message": "agentx: add AgentX support to Quagga.\n\n--enable-snmp will enable AgentX support in Quagga. SMUX is still here\nand can be enabled with --enable-snmp\u003dsmux. AgentX support can be\nenabled with \"agentx\" in configuration file. As for SMUX, this command\nis not understood by vtysh. It can be disabled with \"no agentx\",\nthough there is no real use of this since this command cannot be used\nwith vtysh.\n\nIf \"agentx\" and \"no agentx\" command were added to vtysh, it would not\nbe possible to disable agentx support after enabling it because\nNetSNMP does not expose the appropriate methods for this.\n\nThe internals of AgentX are hidden by NetSNMP. Therefore, we don\u0027t\nhave a file descriptor to add to the threading system. We do not have\nthe timers to set either. Therefore, the event loop is modified to\nmake use of snmp_select_info() from NetSNMP.\n\nTraps are not supported yet.\n"

      "message": "lib: fix PIE build flags\n\nBecause the final executables are built as position independent\nexecutables (PIE) -- when configure has detected compiler supported for\nPIE -- the objects in the library archive must be built in that way,\ntoo. Otherwise the runtime linker has to do unneccesary relocation for\neach start of the program. Even worse, the programs won\u0027t even be able\nto start on a (hardened) kernel that doesn\u0027t allow those relocations to\nhappen by preventing making the .text segment writable (PaX\u0027s MPROTECT\nfeature comes to mind). The attached patch fixes this issue by adding\nthe appropriate flags to the Makefile.am.\n"

      "message": "Add libtool support.\n\nlibzebra and libospfapiclient are now built shared, and linked shared\nwith the daemons.  This reduces the memory needed when running\nmultiple daemons; each daemon is at least 150k smaller.  Static\nlibraries are still built, and libtool should use them on platforms\nwhich don\u0027t have shared libaries.  As with autoconf, the user of a\ndistribution does not need libtool; one just needs that to build from\nCVS.\n\nlibospf.a is still a non-shared library, and still installed, not\nbecause that makese sense, but because I don\u0027t understand why it is\nthe way it is now.\n\nNote that the tree was tagged \u0027libtool-before\u0027 just before this commit.\n"
